Non Solo Vino & Farm Food

At the farm

Long tables, one valley.

Open days at Borgata Biule — km-zero cooking, wine from the demijohn, and the Monviso across the valley. A few times a year, the gate opens and the tables go out.

A tasting of dishes and wines

Six courses from the mountain kitchen, and three Piedmontese wines to carry them.

A full sitting at Borgata Biule: three first courses and three mains, cooked from what the valley and the Langhe give in September — wild boar, tastasal, artichokes, juniper, mountain spices.

Alongside the plates, a guided tasting of three Piedmontese wines — a white to open, then the Barbera, then the Barolo with the stew. Places are limited; call Aldo to reserve.

Come and taste the delights of the valley

The first table at Borgata Biule — in the middle of the forest, in the presence of the Monviso.

This event has passed

Aldo opened the gate to show what had been taking shape after four months of hard work: a cabin left empty for twenty years, pulled back out of the undergrowth, and the beginning of an agriturismo with a garden, a vegetable patch and a pond.

Guests walked the rooms, then the cellars and the old stables underneath the house — and then everyone sat down outside, with the mountain in front of them, and ate what the valley had grown.

On the menu

  • Assorted buffet antipasti: garden vegetables, frittate and cured meats
  • A dish of fresh handmade pasta, and a risotto
  • Homemade artisanal gelato, and coffee
  • Langhe wines from local estates, poured from the demijohn
